with our company. Here are a few things to to keep in mind prior
to booking your big event or party...
You should
always make sure your Disc Jockey Company has all the correct information
for your event at least two or three weeks prior to your event date.
If required we are willing to work with you to create the event
just the way you want with start and ending times and music geared
towards your function long before the event takes place. This will
give your music maestro more than adequate time time to finalize
the details including your play and do not play music lists and
of course to make the arrangements and get any additional music
selections not on our play list.
When
you plan your event always keep in mind that it is always best to
seat older friends and family or younger guests that may be sensitive
the loud sounds further away from the speakers. Even though your
disc jockey will monitor the sound and set it at a reasonable level
to fill the entire room, it is important that you consider where
you would like the speakers to be placed since the music will be
significantly louder the closer your guests sit or stand to the
speakers.
Our
disc jockey needs to have a clear view of you and your guests to
do a great job after all your dj is also usually your mc If you
were to put him in the back corner of a room or in a location with
a with an obstructed view away from your guests, it really makes
entertaining and coordinating your event very difficult. If you
are worried about guests hearing announcements such as raffles,
50/50 draws or silent auctions it is best to have guests seated
in front of the speakers If guests are sitting beside or behind
the loud speakers, they will be unable to hear announcements clearly.
When
booking your party or event one of the most important things to
know is your audience, for example If you knew you were looking

sure you specify this when inquiring about what our disc jockey's

We have

Here
are the answers to some common questions you may have...
When
should I book my special event? We suggest you book 3 to 6 months
in advance; although we are able to fill requests on fairly short
notice this will cost you a bit more than if you book well in advance.
Our advice is to book your function as soon as you have the date,
time and location verified.
When
will you be at our site to set up? We will arrive at your function
usually around sixty minutes before the start of the event, this
will give our staff adequate time for set up and sound checks, no
additional charge for this. Please make sure there is a unobstructed
path to unload our equipment to be carried to setup location.
Can we
make requests? Yes requests are always welcomed in fact we encourage
your guest to help us decide what gets played! However based on
your event type If a song seems inappropriate, our disc jockey will
explain the reason it cannot be played and ask for an alternative
selection.
Hidden
fees or costs? All associated costs and fees are discussed with
you prior to booking confirmation. All taxes are already included
in the price of our standard packages, the only way the price ever
changes is if you should decide during your event you would like
to extend the party, we are always willing to stick around for an
extra hour or so, just ask your host and he will work out some sort
of a deal to keep your party rocking.
